We want to see the Indiana Tech Community become the most inclusive and sought-after community in the technology sector. A community that sets the bar not only for women currently in tech, but those individuals considering technology careers, established technology companies considering Indiana as their home, and entrepreneurs looking to start their next venture.

This can come in many forms: becoming conscious of unconscious biases, going beyond our comfort zones, embracing diversity in tech – you name it – we’re highlighting positive momentum for Indiana Tech.

No, it’s all of us! #SeeYourselfHere can be associated with any company/brand making the right moves to support the cause. As an example, if your team is having a team outing, it’s absolutely fair to post the picture with both #yourcompany #SeeYourselfHere

When can we start using the #SeeYourselfHere hashtag across social platforms?

Now! We will launch this in a more direct way at the IWiT Summit the week of the LPGA Indy Women in Tech Championship but there’s no reason not to create momentum now. #trending

What should I not say?

We trust that if you’re here reading this, you’re a responsible tech advocate who loves Indy. But just to cover our bases, we ask that you please keep the use of this hashtag positive – do not use to discriminate or call-out individuals who may not be the best supporter of inclusivity. There are other, more productive ways to address those situations.
